Omaha Inland Port Authority launches new site to support education, engagement, and economic development

The new site, developed with Golden Shovel Agency, is a hub for site selectors, developers, existing businesses, and residents

Omaha, NE– Omaha Inland Port Authority (OIPA) has announced the launch of a new website designed to put the economic development organization’s message front and center for its target audience. Created in collaboration with Golden Shovel Agency, the leading marketing and communications partner dedicated exclusively to economic development, the new site will provide real-time updates on OIPA efforts to support and grow the North Omaha Community. 

The new website is modern and easy to navigate and offers direct access to information about available sites, as well as information to inform residents of OIPA’s impact and encourage them to engage in economic development efforts. 

“This site is beautiful, and it will help us provide access and transparency for the community, while also providing a way to promote development opportunities within OIPA’s boundaries,” said Garry Clark, OIPA executive director. “The site will help us more effectively communicate the economic impact tied to the $120 million in historic investment in North Omaha and our goal to create jobs, focus on anti-displacement and champion economic liberation.”

Golden Shovel Agency collaborated with OIPA to understand the organization’s needs and create a website that functions as a hub of information for the community and a resource for site selectors and others making decisions about investment in the community. 

“Golden Shovel Agency has been extremely flexible with our requests and thorough in understanding and addressing our goals for the site,” Clark said. “We are looking forward to building on that initial engagement and momentum.”
